John Wainwright

Flourished 1860 to 1876

Very little is known about the life of British Artist John Wainwright, except that he was a very talented nineteenth-century still-life painter. He exhibited four paintings at the British Institution and two at the Society of British Artists between the years of 1860 and 1869. He painted large and decorative florals in the manner of Huysum and Van Os.
