Eleanor Stuart Wood was a painter of flowers, fruit and portraits. She grew up in Manchester, England, but practiced in London from 1876. She exhibited works at the Royal Academy, the Grosvenor Gallery and the National Gallery. She was a member of the Society of Lady Artists.
