If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return it to us within 30 days for a no questions asked refund. You will be responsible for the return shipping, insurance charges and damages, if any, that are not covered by the insurance.

Our Authenticity Guarantee

Every painting featured on the victorian-paintings.com site is a true and genuine article, painted by the artist and of the age and materials stipulated. If the authenticity of a painting is proved to be other than it is purported to be then victorian-paintings.com will guarantee a full refund to purchasers including any return shipping and insurance costs. A Certificate of Authenticity will be provided with any painting purchased.

Placing An Order

Order processing will take approximately 7 working days from the date we have received all of your information. Shipping charges and your local sales tax, if any, will be added to your order. Shipping and handling is taxable and will be taxed. Tax-exempt customers must fax (972) 596-2007 or mail a copy of a tax exemption certificate issued by your taxing authority.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs will be priced on an individual basis usually using Federal Express as a preferred shipper. On occasions a more specialist art shipper is appropriate and specialized packing materials may be purpose built to protect the painting. If the painting is returned during the money back guarantee period then any specialized original packing materials must be re-used.

Escrow Accounts

We also offer an escrow account facility. Your purchase monies for any paintings purchased from victorian-paintings.com can be escrowed during the 30-day money back guarantee period, and as such will be held by a third party escrow agent until the end of the 30 day period, or earlier if you advise the escrow agent that you are satisfied with your purchase. Please contact us to make escrow account arrangements.

Damages

If any goods are damaged while in the care of the purchaser and during the 30-day money back guarantee period, full restoration costs will be deducted from any funds paid to victorian-paintings.com or from funds placed previously with an Escrow agent. If the goods are damaged in transit going to the purchaser, all costs will be met by victorian-paintings.com.
